This is one of the earliest Classic Timeless Double Flap bags ever produced.
This bag has been exceptionally well preserved over the years. Its structure is excellent, as shown in the photos, and the leather is extremely soft, characteristic of the high-quality lambskin Chanel used for its earliest models, which is very difficult to find today.
A true vintage icon from among the earliest pieces produced, featuring 24K gold-plated hardware.
Refined and elegant, this Chanel Matelassé 25 is crafted from premium, exceptionally soft black lambskin leather with the iconic quilted pattern and features the classic double flap. The lambskin leather is in very good condition.

Condition grade: Very good. The bag shows signs of use, such as small visible marks, rubbing and pressure marks, but overall it remains in good cosmetic and structural condition. There are no significant scratches, as can be clearly seen in the side-view and backlit photographs.
The leather has been professionally recoloured/touched up in some areas to restore its natural beauty, particularly around the corners, which remain in very good condition with no noticeable abrasions.
The shoulder strap is in very good condition. The gold-tone hardware shows light signs of wear but remains bright and very well preserved. The leather woven through the chain is intact, with no breaks, although it shows some cracking in certain areas.
The corners and base are in very good condition.
 
The interior is exceptionally clean and free from odours.
